Vicky Taylor
MSST
Vicky Taylor trained at the Northern Institute of Massage in
Bury. There she gained diplomas in
Remedial Massage Therapy and Electrotherapy in order to
treat musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.
Vicky holds diplomas in Sports
Massage and Sports Therapy.
Vicky is registered with
The
Society of Sports Therapists.
Sarah Dodenhoff
BSc (Hons) Ost,
Dip. Paed. Ost
After graduating
from the British School of Osteopathy in 2000, Sarah travelled out to the Indian
Himalayas with a group of Osteopaths to set up temporary osteopathic clinics
treating the locals. It was during this trip that she became interested in
cranial osteopathy and after returning undertook
postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy. Sarah then became interested
in working with children and babies and completed a postgraduate diploma in
paediatric osteopathy whilst
working at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, a charity that treats children
from newborns to teenagers for a wide variety of conditions. Sarah
continues to attend Postgraduate Cranial Osteopathy courses yearly.
Sarah works closely with local health visitors and midwives,
delivering talks to antenatal and mother and baby classes, and has written an
article for
The Autism File, entitled Paediatric Osteopathy. She
also has experience of working in the Childrens' ward, and with premature babies in the
neonatal intensive care unit and SCBU, at Barnet Hospital,
London as part of the 'flying osteopaths' team.
Sarah is registered with the
General
Osteopathic Council (GOsC), and is on
The Sutherland Society
Register for cranial osteopaths.
Jose
Fernandez
BSc (Hons) Ost
After graduating from
the College of Osteopaths, Jose
then undertook further postgraduate
training in Cranial Osteopathy at the Sutherland Cranial College, having previously completed
courses in Cranio-sacral therapy at the
Upledger Institute.
Introduced to manual therapy through massage more than a decade
ago, Jose first trained in holistic massage before qualifying in
Remedial Massage at the Northern Institute of Massage in Bury.
Originally from
Barcelona, Jose has lived in Manchester since 1997. He is
a keen sportsman and regularly trains at the gym.
Jose is registered with the
General
Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is a
member of the British
Osteopathic Association.
Atsuko Miyashita
BSc (Hons) Ost
Atsuko graduated from the European School
of Osteopathy, and has completed courses in Cranio-sacral therapy at the
Upledger Institute. Prior to
her career in osteopathy she gained diplomas in Sports Therapy, Indian
head massage and holistic massage, and has worked with a wide range of
patients from musicians to marathon runners.
Atsuko enjoys treating all ages and conditions from babies to the
elderly, and has a special interest in treating both athletes and
pregnant & post-partum women.
Atsuko is registered with the
General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)
and is a member of the
British Osteopathic Association.
Atsuko is also fluent in Japanese.
